Hasdrubal Barca (c. 244–207 BCE) was a Carthaginian general from the prominent Barcid family, and the younger brother of the more famous Hannibal. He commanded Carthage's forces in Spain during the Second Punic War, where he fought against the Romans for years before attempting to reinforce his brother in Italy.
